Enhancing Management of Separation Levee Construction Guaranteeing River Closure in 1997

隔流堤是三峡通航建筑物的重要组成部分，能否提前完工，直接关系到1997年大江截流。本文从介绍隔流堤的基本情况入手分析了在工程施工过程中，如何抓难点、抓重点、抓主要矛盾，加强现场管理，提前7个月完成隔流堤施工任务。

Whether the separation levee,key component of TGP navigation facilities,can be completed ahead of schedule or not is critical to the river closure in 1997. This paper outlines the major features of the levee,analyzes the construction management and describes how the constructors stressed on the difficult and key parts of the levee construction so that the construction was completed 7 months ahead of the original schedule with the enhanced site management
