马克思国际贸易理论的时代性缘于它是对整个资产阶级社会运动规律的考察。马克思国际贸易理论的现实意义,体现在它对比较优势理论与世界产业转移、贸易与发展问题、全球化问题等仍然具有充分的解释力。从方法论比较上看,马克思国际贸易理论采用的是历史和逻辑相统一的总体动态方法,研究资产阶级社会经济关系;西方国际贸易理论则采用静态分析,侧重个体和纯粹经济技术问题研究。马克思国际贸易理论并不排斥西方国际贸易理论在一定层次和一定范围内的科学性,西方国际贸易理论也决不能推翻马克思主义经济学的科学结论。马克思和西方国际贸易理论都需要随时代的发展而不断深化。

It can explain comparative advantage theory, world industry transfer, trade and development issues and globalization, etc. Comparing the research method, Marx used a general dynamic research method of the congruence of history and logic in his study on international trade, and Marx paid attention to capitalist social economic relations, while in western international trade fields the economists use static analysis method to study the individual and pure economic technique questions mostly. Marx' theory on international trade doesn't fight off the scientificalness of western international trade theory to a certain degree and in some scope, while western international trade theory can't overthrow the scientific conclusion of Marxist economics. The two kinds of theories both need some development with the times.
