After Disintegration of the social institution based on public ownership of means of production in former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, some famous economists raise doubts and difficult questions for discussion on building public ownership and destroying the private ownership based on the world change and the reform and opening in China. Someone put forward the theory of replacing socialist public ownership with social ownership. We need to discuss the question clearly and reach assent on the issue in order to insist on the public ownership.
