Regarding a computerized examination system for the use of basic courses, the authors inquire into the method of its design and implementation. They use visual Basic 6.0 to develop application program of foreground and adopt Access 2000 to design database of background. The system includes module of administrator and module of examinee, the maintenance of examination system and the accomplishment of oner s examination process are implemented respectively, the system is simple in maintenance and convenient in service, and has been used practically in the fundamental teching of the computer.
