Each kind of folk custom has its owe special profound cultural meaning. The folk custom of “Kujia” which has been very popular in modern society has the same character. The author holds that “Kujia” is the auxiliary ritual of wedding in China. It has particular social function and cultural meanings. In modern society,“Kujia”is a kind of successive and advanced culture, and sufficiently embodies the outstanding essence and marrow of Chinese culture.
