A procedure using the generalized least square method was appliied to one dimensional conductive heat transrer problem. The potential of the procedure as a tool to facilitate an interactive computational experimental methodology is presented. Possibilities are pointed out both to reduce experimental inaccuracy and to find the most probable correct volue and its uncertainty of calculated results.
