吴良镛院士所著《提高全社会的建筑理论修养》一文的意义具有全社会性,它的要旨在于:建筑关系国计民生至大至要,针对当前建筑领域存在的一些畸形状态,必须从理论上进行探索,消除误导,树立东方建筑文化发展观,从而开创中国新建筑文化的未来。

The meaning of the article ＂To Raise the Culture of Architectural lheones ol the Whole Society＂ by Academician Wu Liangyong is of a nature of the whole society. Its argument rests with the following ： Architecture is of the greatest importance to the national economy and the people＇s livelihood. In respect with some abnormal states in the current architectural field in China, it is necessary to carry out theoretical exploration, remove misleading , establish the outlook of the development of the oriental architectural culture and then create the future of China＇s new architectural culture.
