This paper presents the method of simplifying the tree - structure with interlinking structure and multi - echelon inventory optimization in distribution supply chain through the theory of echelon inventory and heuristic algorithm for the relaxed problem by using information technology. The new method has proved its positive effect on minimizing the total cost of the system in the practical application.
