《内经》将中国古代哲学神为万物变化内在依据的内涵移植到医学,提出神机的概念,心为其主宰,体现了以中为尊的思想。五神乃精神活动的主体,其中神为人类特有的自觉意识,魂为本体意识,魄为与生俱来的感觉、运动本能,意志则代表心神主导下的思维活动。神主于五脏。精化气、气生神,神又反过来影响精气活动。

Internal Medicine transplanted the connoation of vitality being the inherent base of all things＇ change in ancient philosophy into the medicine and put forward the concept of vitality movement.It holds that the heart dominates the mental activity,which cmbodies the idea of taking vitality as the senior.The five vitalities are the main parts of mental activities,among instioct,and the will represents the thinking activities dominated by the heart.Five Zang organs dominate vitaliyt.Essence may be changed into Qi,while Qi generates vitality,Mental activities,in turn,influence the activites of essence and Qi.
