Some Reflections on Narrowing the Hygiene Disparity Between Urban and Rural Areas

我国的经济随着改革开放实现了飞速发展。但由于城乡“二元”结构的存在,城乡间许多方面都出现了显著差距,卫生状况也不例外。而城乡卫生的协调发展是城乡经济协调发展的具体要求,我们必须直视这种差距并有所思考。首先阐述城乡卫生方面存在的差距,进而分析造成这种差距的原因,最后对缩小这种差距的途径进行探讨。

With the policy of reform and opening-up, the economy of our country has developed at full speed. But because of the ruralurban dualistic structure, remarked disparity appeared at a lot of aspects between urban and rural areas. And the hygiene state had no exception. The coordinated development of the economy in the urban and rural areas demands the coordinated development of hygiene. We must view this kind of disparity directly and make an exhaustive study of it. This article firstly enunciates the disparity in hygiene between urban and rural areas, then analyses the reasos of it, finally discusses the ways to narrow the disparity.
