作者结合在中等职业学校从事教育管理工作实际，以及现代教育管理的一些新理论、新思想，把中等职业学枝的育人思想概括为“用正确的舆论引导学生、用科学的制度规范学生、用严格的管理训练学生、用丰富的活动吸引学生、用优质的教育服务学生、用良好的就业满足学生”．并进行了较为深入的分析。
