Writing the "Body": Evolution of Feminist Literature in China

从性别意识和性意识这个角度来看,当代女性文学可以进行十七年文学创作、文学的恢复和发展期、转型期以及走向歧途四个阶段的划分,在这种阶段性的发展中,"身体"由遮蔽走向公开,"性"的书写成了一种时尚.由于这种失去文化背景的依托刻意对"性"的书写,中国当代女性文学陷入了令人尴尬的境地,在创作上作家们也无法得到新的突破.

In terms of the consciousness of sex and sexuality, contemporary feminist literature has undergone the following fodr stages： the phrase of literary creation, literary recuperation, development and transformation. During these stages of development, the feminist “body” has gone to wide openness. The description of “sex” has become a fad with no regard to its cultural background, plunging contemporary feminist literature into a state of plight. As a result, feminist writers have found no easy way to make breakthroughs in their literary creation.
