浅谈同声传译人员的素质

同声传译是外事工作的重要组成部分,由于其工作的高强度和高回报,使许多人对其产生神秘感.这里根据同声传译的特点,从同声传译译员必须具备的各种素质能力和同声传译训练中应该注意的问题,对同声传译译员的必备素质进行了探讨,认为同声传译译员首先要有很强的语言理解能力并精通两种以上语言,其次在翻译过程中要有敏锐的听力,同时还要具有良好的记忆力和预测能力.

Simultaneous interpretation, as an important part of foreign communication which demands high working intensity and receives high payment, has been long regarded as mysterious. In respect to the characteristics of simultaneous interpretation, this paper discusses the necessary qualities of simultaneous interpreters and the problems that we should pay attention to in training them. It concludes that a qualified simuhaneous interpreter should have strong bilingual competence, a good listening ability in interpretation, superb memory and a good predictive ability.
