This paper introduces the inner structure and function of AD7008. The design of signal generator which uses single chip 89C51controlling AD7008 and output circuit CD4052 is particularly introduced. The User interface is based on 89C51. It mainly presents the counting methods of frequency control word and phase control word, the generating methods of sine wave, AM signal and FM signal. The design of circuit and software is given.
