摘要
由于光纤激光器较之其他固体激光器在体积、重量、散热等方面有明显的优势,故提出了一种实现武器级光纤激光器的方法。采用大有效面积低数值孔径的掺镱光纤作为光纤激光器,利用弯曲光纤和非稳腔抑制粗芯光纤中的高次模来获得单芯输出6kW的单模功率。用零差法控制和调节19路光纤激光器的相位并使19束激光形成相干叠加。从而得到100kW的合成光束。
Since fiber lasers have significant advantages comparing with other's solid lasers in size, weight and heat dissipa- tion, a method of fiber laser as a weapon is presented. The large core and lower numerical aperture Yb-doped fiber is used as fiber laser. The output single mode powers will expect as high as 6kW from a single fiber by means of bending loss and unstable cavity to suppress the high order modes in the large core fiber. Combining coherently beams from 19 Yb-doped fiber lasers using homodyne method to control and tune phase, 100kW of output power will be obtained.
