The great economic and social changes have provided the local universities with opportunities and problems as well. An important way to solve the problems lies in education research. Therefore, local universities should conduct researches in education guiding principles, the cultivation of talents and the patterns of teaching and research to serve the local economy, providing theoretical support and services for the healthy and sustainable development of the universities.
