载脂蛋白E(ApoE)在血浆脂质代谢中起重要作用。人apoE基因具有多态性,3种等位基因(ε2、ε3和ε4)编码3种异构体(E2、E3和E4)。与ε3等位基因相比,ε2等位基因与较低的ε4等位基因和较高的血浆总胆固醇、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇相关。

Apolipoprotein E （APOE） plays an important role in plasma lipid metabolism,The human ApoE gene is polymorphic, with three common alleles （ε2, ε3,ε4） encoding three isomers （E2, E3, E4）. As comparing with ε3 allele, ε2 allele is associated with the lower ε4 allele and the higher total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein cholesterol levels.
