A Network Management Architecture Based on LDAP

分析了LDAP在网络管理中的应用的优势,根据大规模网络网管系统建设中存在的问题,提出了一种基于LDAP的网管体系结构。该体系结构通过建设网络管理数据信息库,利用标准目录技术来存储和访问网管数据,并通过LDAP对外提供统一的公共访问接口,满足了异构分布环境的开放性要求,而且能够在开放性及管理信息集成等方面提高网络管理的质量。

The advantages of applying LDAP in network management systems are analyzed. A management architecture based on LDAP is proposed to resolve the problems in developing large scale networks＇ management systems. In this architecture, network management information base is constructed, with directory technology to store network management information and LDAP as its access protocol. LDAP is used to provide universal public access interface, and this satisfies the openness requirement of heterogeneous distributed environments. The quality of network management in openness and information integration is also improved in this architecture.
