Four protective efficacy trails were carried out in order to study immune protective synergism of Marek′s disease (MD) bivalent vaccines. Three kinds of MD bivalent vaccines including Z 4+F C126 , SB 1+F C126 and 301B/1+F C126 and four kinds MD monovalent vaccines including Z 4, SB 1, 301B/1 and F C126 were used to immunize Line P (B19/B19) SPF white leghorn chickens which are highly susceptible to MD, SPF white leghorn chickens and commercial Isabrown chickens challeged by Chinese standard virulent Marek′s disease virus (vMDV) Jing-1 blood strain, international standard vMDV GA strains and very virulent MDV (vvMDV) Md 5 strain respectively. The results showed there were obvious immune protertive synergism in the three kinds MD bivalent vaccines compared the MD monovalent vaccines consisting Z 4, SB 1 301B/1 and F C126 strain respectively that were components of MD bivalent vaccins, and there were no significant difference among MD bivalent vaccines respect to the immune protective synergism.
