Zhang Ailing adopted the moon＇s different content of western and eastern culture and literature when invented the moon image in her works. So, readers can get various aspects of the moon from her works. When describing lunar eclipse, she compared cold blue moon image with the horrible sun image, from which the readers can get a new understanding on the moon.
