摘要
显形是乔伊斯文学思想中的核心概念,是理解乔伊斯与其文本间关系的试金石。但关于如何理解显形概念的具体内涵却一直众说纷纭,其症结是阐述者透视角度含混,没能抓住显形与乔伊斯艺术家身份之间关系的现实性。本文依据乔伊斯总体文学观,从知觉关系的角度诠释乔伊斯的显形概念,并试图勾画出显形与乔伊斯文学思想间隐含的逻辑关联。
As a key concept in Joyce's literary thoughts, epiphany is essential to understand the relationship between Joyce the artist and his texts. Yet there is controversy over the connotation of epiphany, for the explanations are often ambiguous in their perspectives and thus fail to grasp the realistic nature of the relationship between epiphany and Joyce as an artist. In view of Joyce's literary thoughts at large, this paper aims to interpret epiphany in terms of perception and outline its relevance to Joyce's literary thoughts as a whole.
