岩彩画是以研磨成粉状的五彩的天然岩石为主要材料调和胶质加上闪光的金、银、铜、铝箔等金属材料绘制而成,是人类历史上最早的壁画。画面具有光泽而丰富的色彩和多变的肌理效果,给画面带来了特殊的语言和美感。与传统工笔重彩画有很大的差别,岩彩画既是一个新生物,又是传统文化的继承和发扬,它将成为美术界关注的焦点,是中国美术发展到新的历史阶段观念更新的必然。

Rock painting is to use grinded colorful natural rock as main pigments mixed with glue, which is the earliest wall painting of mankind. The surface of the painting is shining with color and has the effect of texture plus applying the shining metal material like gold, silver, copper and aluminum, all of which give the painting a special language and a sense of beauty.
