A Distribted Intelligent NMS with Multiple Fault Management Modes

提出了一种分布式智能网络管理系统──ＤＩＮＭＳ。该系统具有与ＴＣＰ／ＩＰ有关的故障诊断知识，能够自动处理复杂的异种机网络环境中的故障。文中描述了ＤＩＮＭＳ的体系结构，网络故障管理的知识表达和控制方法，特别是合作诊断方法。讨论了ＤＩＮＭＳ的实现，并给出了一个合作诊断的实例。

This poper proposes distributed intelligent network management system called DINMS,which has TCP/ IP- related fault management knowledge,and can automatically deal with problems occurring in a complex and heterogeneous network environment.DINMS has the following features:each constituent network has a copy of DINMS;cooperative troubleshooting of TCP/IP- related problems and their upper-level protocol- related problem are supported;four threads monitor various kinds of objects simultaneously, while only one of them can cooperate with MUTES each time.This peper describes the architecture of DINMS,the knowledge and control methods for fault management,espeCially the method for cooperative diagnosis. DINMS implementation and a cooperative diagnosis example are also presented in this peper.
