概述了我国建筑涂料的发展概况及前景,结合各类建筑工程对涂料的不同需求,简述了内外墙涂料的需求品种及新产品、新技术,特别是奥运工程对内墙涂料的环保要求,提出大力发展、积极推广环境友好型建筑涂料的理念,同时还阐明了内外墙涂料配套产品——底漆、腻子的重要作用。

The development and prospect of architectural paints in China are summarized. The demands, new products and new technologies of paints for interior and exterior wall, especially environmental requirements thereof by Olympic engineering are briefly introduced. The idea that environmentally friendly architectural paints should be energetically developed and extended is proposed. The important functions of matched products of paints for interior and exterior wall in terms of primers and putties are clarified.
