摘要 Discoloration of reactive red X-3B,a dye,induced by pyruvate under UV irradiation was preliminarily investigated.The effects of pH value,initial concentration of sodium pyruvate and dye,and adscititious Fe(Ⅲ) were discussed in detail.The reaction mechanism was preliminarily studied.The result showed that reactive red X-3B solution containing pyruvate could be discoloured by UV irradiation.Under the experimental condition,the apparent kinetic equation of reactive red X-3B was-dc/dt=0.11+0.0017C_P.The initial concentration of pyruvate was the main factor influencing the discoloration efficiency of reactive red X-3B.
