摘要
针对两状态、四状态和八状态的Turbo网格编码调制(TurboTrellis-CodedModulation,简称TTCM),本文提出了一种通用的编译码方法,并给出它们在编译码器上的设计方法和设计准则。仿真结果表明:适当增加编码器的并行分支和译码的迭代次数能弥补由于状态数减少而带来的性能恶化,从而改善低状态的TTCM的性能。
This paper presents the method and principle for designing the encoder of the Turbo trellis-code-modulation, And then, based on the characteristics of 2-states, 4-states and 8-states encoder, an omnipotent designing principle and a compensating method of the deterioration of performance, which results from the decrease of the numhers of states, are investigated. Simulation results show that the performance of low states Turbo trellis-coded modulation (TTCM) can be improved by increasing the numbers of the parallel routes of the encoder and the times of the iteration of the decoding.
