中国新建理工大学改革与发展的一些思路

Suggestions on Reforming and Developing of Newly Established Chinese Science and Engineering Universities

对中国新建理工大学在过去与现在的发展状况进行分析后,认为这些大学目前面临着来自国内外的6大挑战。为了应付这些挑战,这类大学应该往应用型专业学院转型;必须要设立跨学科专业,进行跨学科教学;必须积极开展国际合作,引进国际上先进的教育理念、管理方法、优秀的师资、教材等,改变理工科学生培养模式化的现象;每所大学要办出自己的特性,在专业设置、教学内容、教学方法以及教材上要敢于突出其个性特征;最后,文章提出了网络教学的重要性,认为是否积极开办虚拟大学、开展网络教学与研究关系到中国大学未来20年的存亡问题。

China＇s newly established science and engineering universities face six serious challenges for their existence in the next two decades. In order to embrace the competition of the time, they need to change their focus from empirical and theoretical study to more economy and production oriented field, establish interdisciplinary programs, reform their curricula and teaching methodologies, actively engage in international cooperation and maintain one＇s own characteristics in terms of their administration and teaching system. Finally, the universities have to urgently develop their online courses.
