English and Chinese Contrastive Analysis in Writing Effective English Sentences

从英语有效句子的两个要素即统一性、强调性出发,结合大学英语教学实践,分析了大学英语写作中由于缺乏对英汉两种语言文化的系统地了解而产生的一些弊病,认为要使学生有效地避免中式英语,写出纯正地道的英语句子,有必要在教学中比较系统地、适当地给他们介绍英汉两种语言文化的差异。

Common sentence errors in college students＇ English writing are chiefly caused by students＇ lack of awareness of the linguist and cultural differences between the target and the source languages. It is therefore proposed that more emphasis should be placed on the differences of the two languages and cultures in teaching English as a foreign language writing.
