“One state, one nation”, the core of Indian national policy, which is indeed the ambiguity and misunderstanding of European “nation - state” theory, although with well- meaning intentions to prevent the nation from separation and increase the national cohesion, turns out to be unfavorable to enhance the national unity and mitigate various contradictions. The essence of such a policy is national oppression and assimilation.
