Dalong Water Control Project——water source project to support sustainable development of Sanya

三亚市水资源主要为地表水,但时空和地域分布极不均匀,主要供水水源位于中东部。随着社会经济和旅游的发展,生活、生态、旅游、工业等用水的需求日渐增加。大隆水利枢纽地处三亚西部,它的兴建将在实现海南省南部水资源优化配置,以及在三亚可持续发展中发挥重要作用。

The water resources in Sanya is mainly the surface water and the main water sources are located in the mid-east of the city, because of the non-uniform temporal, spatial and regional distribution of the water resources. The domestic, ecological, touristic and industrial water demands etc. are increasing gradually along with the developments of both the economy and tourism therein. Dalong Water Control Project is situated in the east of Sanya and plays an important role in the realization of the optimal allocation of the water resources in the south part of the province to support the sustainable development of the city.
