It reviewed intestinal tract preparation for patients by orally taken Magnesium sulfate from the aspects of clinical application, diet preparation, subjects selection, time of taking medicine, water drinking amounts and time limit. It suggested that one pay attention to the feeling of patients, and further observe both the optimal concentration of Magnesium sulfate as purgation and water drinking volume and time limit.
