Five National Level Hi-Tech Development Zones Constitute Shandong’s New Hi-Tech Bases

在社会经济的发展中,高新技术是一个强力的助推器。而汇聚了众多高新技术产业的国家级高新技术产业开发区则是这个助推器的生产线。国家高新区已成为国家发展高新技术产业的重要基地和聚集创新资源、发展先进生产力的有效载体,为推进产业结构调整、促进经济增长方式的转变积蓄了力量。目前,山东省拥有济南、青岛、淄博、潍坊、威海5个国家级高新技术产业开发区。近年来,山东省高新区坚持科学发展观,抓住高新技术产业发展的大好机遇,呈现了超常规、跳跃式发展的良好势头,开发区区域竞争力日益增强。截止到2004年底,5个国家级高新技术产业开发区的高新技术企业达到998家,实现技工贸收入1643亿元,工业总产值1543亿元,工业增加值432亿元,实际缴税80亿元,出口创汇24.5亿元。

In recent years, Shandong has scored remarkable achievements in constructing hi-tech development zones. In 2004, 73 foreign-invested projects were attracted, utilizing contracted foreign investmerits of 233 million US dollars and actually utilizing foreign investments of 81.01 million US dollars, an increase of 53.7% and 56.8% over the previous year, respectively; turning over an export volume of 480 million US dollars, an increase by 41.2% over the previous year; attracting domestic investments of 1.5 billion yuan and 95 under-construction projects with an investment volume of more than lO million yuan, amounting to a total investment volume of 13.15 billion yuan.
