近5年来中国莎士比亚研究在莎剧演出、中外戏剧与莎剧之间的比较、语言学、宗教和后现代主义、后殖民主义、翻译研究等方面取得了一些成绩,研究者将重点放在中外戏剧与莎剧的比较、从语言学角度研究莎士比亚、西方现代文论下的莎士比亚研究等方面,显示出中国莎学研究的整体状况。

Shakespeare studies in China has obtained achievements .in the fields of play performance, comparative literature, linguistics, religion, pest-modernism, pest-colonialism, and translation. It emphasizes comparison between Chinese drama, foreign drama and Shakespearian plays. The focus of the scholars has been put on the studies from the point of view of comparative literature, linguistics, and current Western literary scholarship.
