摘要
大学理念就是对大学是什么,怎样办大学的认识,对如何管理好、经营好大学等所形成的思想、观念体系,是大学的灵魂。大学理念随着时代的发展而变化,表现出历史性、时代性与个性的特征。通过对西方及其中国近现代大学教育理念的考察和当前经济社会发展形势的分析,我们认为西北大学的教育理念应该是:以人为本,学术自由,开放创新,服务社会。
The notions of the university focus on what is university and how to run it; the thought of running the university is the spirit of the university. With changing of the times, the notions of university exhibited the characters of historicity, contemporary spirit and personality. Through the review of the educational notions of university at home and abroad and the analysis about today＇s position of economy and society, we believe that the educational notions of Northwest University are ： humanization ; academic freedom ; innovation; socialization service.
