The language is all along focused and discussed in hterature. The Maqiao Dictionory, written by Hart Sliaogong, expounds some basic categories that must be faced by literature and linguistics： language and human, language and parole, dialect and national common language, language transition and social transition. There is a close relation between language and human, and linguistics is human knowledge. The cultural diversity carried by language is encountered with crisis in globalization, and the human fate and thought in this culture are worthy of concern. The Maqiao Dictionary pays serious attention to human in social transition through describing the language at the bottom of society.
