邓小平同志明确指出,遵义会议以前没有形成一个成熟的中央领导集体。因为党当时处在幼年时期,缺乏独立自主解决问题的能力,也就是说,这个时期的中国共产党还不是一个成熟的马克思主义政党。经过大革命失败和土地革命失败的洗礼,中国共产党才逐渐成熟起来,遵义会议标志着党的领导的成熟;党的七大标志着全党的成熟。但这种成熟不是恒定的,必须与时俱进、理论创新,才能在新的阶段达到新的成熟。

DENG Xiao-ping pointed directly a mature central leader collective didn＇t come into being before Zhunyi Meeting because the Party was young then without ability to tackle problem on her own. That means the CPC at that moment wasn＇t a mature Marxism party. After the baptism of the failure of the Great Revolution ＆ the Agrarian Revolution, The CPC became mature more and more. Zhunyi Meeting marks the maturity of the Party＇s leader, whereas, the 7th Party Congress marks the maturity of the whole Party. The maturity isn＇t consistent. We have to march with each passing day, make theory renewable so as to become mature again at the new stage.
