摘要
毛批《琵琶》对戏曲的本质作了全新的审视,对戏曲的结构艺术作了深入的探讨,对大团圆的结局提出了异议,对戏曲的表现方法有系统的梳理。它睹前人睹而未全之秘,发前人发而未至之论,对今天的创作仍有借鉴意义。
The great contribution of literary criticism,which Mao Shengshan and his son Mao Zonggang had made on traditional Chinese operas lies in their brand-new viewpoints on literary criticism. They, in their criticism to the traditional Chinese operas Pipa, had adopted an entirely new perspective to the study of the nature of operas, raised an objection to the conventional happy ending and further made a in-depth systematic exploration on the art composition and expressive techniques of the operas. No people ever before had such a deep and complete study in traditional operas; moreover, their theories on literary criticisms are very helpful for today's opera composition.
