鲁迅、茅盾的小说创作与时代精神

时代精神凝聚了一个时代的基本价值取向,有使命感的作家必然要加以关注。但作家对时代精神的理解须与感性直观的经验结合在一起。鲁迅基于感性的经验形成了对启蒙主义时代精神的理解,并通过创作加以折射,他的小说既具思想穿透性,又有艺术感染力。而茅盾的《子夜》等小说体现了革命的时代精神,达到了左翼文学的高峰。他用革命的理性规范作品的主题和人物,隐去了自我,写得比鲁迅正确,但在艺术性上存在一些缺憾。
