Development of Environmental Label of Building Material in China and Its Implications

随着我国环境标志制度的实施,自1994年以来我国建材行业环境标志认证有了长足发展,据我国环境标志产品认证委员会秘书处数据,我国建材行业近200家企业的550多种产品获得环境标志认证,其产品涵盖了建材行业的各个方面。其中约有40多家企业近60个建筑涂料企业的产品、50家人造板材企业80多种产品3、0余家粘合剂企业等建材行业产品获得环境标志产品认证。这对我国建材行业结构调整具有十分重要的现实意义。

This paper discusses the development of environrnental label of building materials and its implications in China. With the development of environmental label of the world and China, the development of environmental label of building material has made great progress and become the economic growing hot point of building material in China. So far, in China certification has been made on 550 products made by 200 enterprises, covering all kinds of building material. The experiences of the last ten years demonstrated that the environmental label of building material in China had a promising perspective. The development of the environmental label of building material in China is helpful for promoting production and consumption of building material, changing the pattern of economic growth, enhancing the enterprises＇ competitiveness in the world market, and especially overcoming green trade barriers in international trade. Indeed the development of environmental label of building material of China has important implications for realizing the goal of environmental protection of the world and China.
