This essay exposes that the nature of potential development is brain development, mainly including tour aspects： human＇s subconscious,intelllgent elements,non intelligent elements and concentration, according to which five interactive relations. namely the relation between subconscious and intelligent elements, subconscious and non intelligent elements, subconscious and concentration,intelligent and non intelligent elements, intelligent and non intelligent elements and concentration, in potential development in learning a foreign language are put forward.
