An Analysis of the Essence of Economic Globalization in the Frame of Marxism

研究经济全球化必须将其置于马克思主义的框架内进行。作为当代世界经济发展的大趋势,经济全球化是一定的物质生产力和一定生产关系相结合的全球化过程。对于经济全球化本质的探讨,必须从总体上、从其所具有的二重属性上、从历史发展过程中和从主观和客观的结合上给予全面系统的把握,同时还应该把经济全球化与经济一体化、经济国际化、文化全球化与政治全球化等概念区分开来。

This paper analyses economic globalization in the frame of Marxism. As the main trend of contemporary world economy, we consider economic globalization as a process, in which specific productive forces and specific productive relations are combined. In order to explore the essence of economic globalization, we should grasp it entirely and systematically according to its double attributes, the development of history, the combination of subjectivity and objectivity. Besides, we should also distinguish the concept of economic globalization from the concepts of economic integration, economic internationalization, cultural globalization and political globalization.
