Jacques Maritain（ 1882- 1973） has unique occurring principle of art, who is a famous Christian esthetician of France, a theoretician of the literature and art in the 20th century. He believes that the origin of art is poetry. He also believes that poetry is a kind of primitive spiritual activity which reveals the inside existence meanings of things and ego. Maritain＇ s art occuring principle can trace back the fountainhead of literature and art. This has not only restored the original appearance of the literature and art, at the same time, it affirms the characteristic of art which generates and stipulates with itself.
