Lu Wen fu, the famous writer in the contemporary era, through ups and downs, has all along focused on social reality and looked into the truth of life.‘Alley Literature＇, a new form of literature invented by him is full of local characteristics. The research on Lu＇s novels has been carried through for nearly a half century, and great achievements have been made in researching his thoughts in creating novels, connotation of themes and artistic styles. We surprisingly find that his novels differ are strikingly different during various periods of time. Research on Lu Wen-fu＇s novels can only result in a clear skeleton and a wide visual threshold if we view them with a rational way of thinking, an aesthetic posture and a careful analysis.
