论宋代思想文化转型下的“雅”、“俗”矛盾及其变奏

On the Refined-popular Contradictions and their Variations in the Song Dynasty

鉴于晚唐五代藩镇割据的历史教训,宋代确立起抑武右文的国策。至此,中国封建社会及其思想文化发生根本性的转型,由尚武转向习文,由拓展转向内敛,亦由强盛转向衰败,并由此催生出社会文化诸方面的多重“雅”、“俗”矛盾。“雅”、“俗”二元矛盾及其变奏正是宋型文化最典型的机理和特征。

After the separatist military governors＇ regimes in the late Tang, the basic policy of the Song Dynasty is “to up- hold military force rather than civility”, which results in a series of changes in feudal China including the shift from “emphasizing military affairs to praising culture”, “from expanding to contracting”, and “from prosperity to decline”.
