A Differentiated Services Mechanism for Various Traffic Transmission in Wireless Sensor Networks

提出了一种适合无线传感器网络(WSN)业务的区分服务方案-轮询路径调度算法(Round Robin Path Schedulin-g,RRPS).该方案根据路径能量瓶颈梯度和跳数梯度这两个主要参数来为不同等级业务分配不同的路径,同时以轮询方式选择路径来均衡网络中各个节点的能耗.实验结果表明,与直接扩散路由算法相比,RRPS能降低实时业务的端对端延时和延时抖动,并提高网络生存期.

A Round Robin Path Scheduling （RRPS） algorithm is proposed for various traffics in wireless sensor networks （WSNs）. RRPS can assign different route according to traffic level. In order to balance the energy consumption of sensor nodes in different routes, RRPS use poll among all the paths. Our simulation results show that compared with Direct Diffusion （DD） algorithm, RRPS achieves lower delay for real-time （RT） traffic, and exhibits substantially longer network lifetime.
