Analyzing the operating principle of underwater jet ditch digger. Establishing the model of ditch digger incorporate forces. Computing and analyzing the reliability of ditch digger under many loads, such as the pull, the drag of ocean current and the edaphic drag. Analyzing bearing capacity of the slide-shoes of holding ditch digger vertical loads, and discussing the method of calculation and safety factors of seabed bearing capacity in different depths according to shear strength of seabed earth.
