连接天津钢管公司轧管厂和管加工厂的是一个密集型的高架式中间仓库。这个仓库由料架、提升移送车、横向分配车、提升堆垛机等设备组成，钢管成排存放在料架的格子上，由计算机系统按生产计划程序发出指令，通过微机控制和操作以上设备自动存取、运送和装卸，仓库的管理和运行是完全自动化的。

In conjunction with the pipe mill and pipe finishing lines at TJPCO is the high-story intermediate storage.This storage consists of the allocation structure,travelling lift distributor,cross distributor,roller ways,travelling lift stackers,and other equipments.The pipes are stored on the allocation by means of layers.After the movement order is sent by the computer system in accordance with the production planning programs,the withdraw and deposit operation,transportation of layer will be finally automatic performed by machines under the control and management of PLC system.The storage management running operation was fully performed.This paper describes the general layout,flow chart,automation system and feature of this system.
