Firstly, things will become more beautiful by some kind of adorning; Secondly, any adorning has its limits, whereas by being simple and natural it could achieve the highest state; Finally, the step-by-step evolvement of the remarks affiliated to the hexagram and lines of Bi shows the changing course in which beauty gradually gets more and more simple and pristine, acquiring more and more substantial meaning. The author believes that, from an aesthetic point of view, what one could learn from the Hexagram Bi is a basically road that general beauty could take place and develop. It is the greatest contribution to Aesthetics from the hexagram Bi in Zhouyi.
