次稠密等离子体对激光与锥形靶相互作用的影响 被引量:5

Influence of under-dense plasma on laser conical target interaction

摘要 利用三维粒子模拟程序模拟了强激光在锥形靶内的传播情况.发现锥内次稠密等离子体的存在使激光在锥顶部的最大聚焦强度有所降低,产生的相对论电子的最大能量和数目增加.激光在锥壁激发起强的电流和磁场,次稠密的存在还使锥内产生强的准静态磁场,磁场的存在使相对论电子速度分布在垂直激光传播方向上表现出各向同性. The laser light propagation inside the conical target has been studied by three-dimensional particle-in-cell simulations. It is found that the existence of under-dense plasma significantly affects the light propagation and the generation of relativistic electrons. The laser light can be focused at the tip of the cone and the intensity increases up to tens of times in the focal spot. With the under-dense plasma the laser light focused intensity is decreased. The existence of under-dense plasmas favors the relativistic electron generation in the laser conical target interaction in enhancing the number and energy of relativistic electrons.
