Front line staff directly contacts customers and suppliers, representing companies' image. When some CEOs are describing companies' strategy and vision from the top, they can not expect that their front line staff display a different company image. The management of front line staff seems to be the responsibility of line managers. But some top CEOs are very concerned about it. According to the point of view of these CEOs, CEOs can help to establish a culture which values front line staff. But CEOs' time is quite limited, besides warm talk and handshake with front line staff sometimes, what else can they do in this respect?
